Animal Cruelty

Hi everybody! Today I went to p4c (Philosophy for children) and we talked about animal cruelty and animal rights. First we started with a story about a boy trying to get his dog Viking to jump through a hoop thats on fire but Viking was scared and the boy said that Viking was a wimp. What's the point of calling your dog Viking when you say hes a wimp? Any way then we talked about human rights and animal rights. After that we watched 2 short clips from the movie Babe. Then we talked about what was mean about that clip and what wasn't. Then we finished for lunch.
